Le Nozze di Figaro
In April 2022 I took part in a production of this opera by Mozart and it was a fantastic adventure. The idea was that the Count was a capricious rock star of modern times, and his thing is to have everyone around him dress up in 18th century fashion. Which they do halfheartedly and keeping their own style underneath. This gives a very fun mix but it was a big costuming challenge, as each outfit has to be dragged through the ages and adapted to a very unique situation.

I was working with the very talented costumier Fanie Munoz, and the production was led by Zoltan Csekö of the Compagnie ContrastS, in Vienne, France.
