Short Kimono Jackets
I made several kimonos as comfortable indoor wear for my friends and one day, one friend asked me if I could make a short version of it. I made a toile and adjusted the measurements according to what she wanted. Then I realized that with some minor tweaking, I could make it reversible and do so with exactly 1.5 m and 1m of the two fabrics, incurring minimal fabric waste. I was so thrilled, and so was my friend because the fabric costs were also lower.
I designed them so that they have an oversized fit, and so they are naturally one size fits all, which makes me very happy.
Monstera Brocade Kimono Jacket
I wear one of these around the house to feel comfortable, but they are also great as statement pieces for going out and I will definitely be wearing mine out for summer.
